  How Often is 1914 Openly Spoken of at the Meetings?

  as someone who left in 1991 aged 21, one of my overriding memories of growing up in the watchtower was being able to "prove" the end times by referencing 1914.. major change in 95 then again after that.

  if i'm being honest i could not even tell you now what the current teaching is.. for those who still attend the meetings, is it still openly spoken about?

  i genuinely curious as i wonder if the teaching will be altogher dropped eventually, and one of the easiest ways to achieve that is to stop speaking about it.

  the watchtower has the audacity to think it is some authority on the matter of telling parents how to deal with news reports that may disturb them, when for decades it has been promoting a horrific destruction of 99% of people currently living on earth, including detailed pictures in their own 'news reports'.. why would people print disturbing news reports?

  one reason that they provide specifically relates to themselves as well.

  children may have trouble putting the news in perspective.

  types of cancer.i've been wondering for some time what the current gb has said about witness parents giving the green light, or red light, to having their kids vaccinated against hpv (the human papillomavirus) since it is a sexually transmitted disease.

  it causes cervical and other types of cancer.

  the recommended age for vaccination is 8-12 years old.

  We had a pointed talk on such matters against it. The reasoning being that jw kids will never get a disease because they all marry as virgins. Said protestant preacher has a better understanding.

  Blm, antifa, rednecks, lgbtq all acting out. Add the fear mongering over the pandemic and ridiculous restrictions.

  The news will not leave trump alone. I hear commentary all the time that is editorial. Things like; "even obama couldn't ". Trump was wrong to restrict travel with china but restricting travel in the USA is right?

  Most of the oppressed minorities are NOT who you would want for neighbors. The minority neighborhoods dont want them either. Add in defunding,/ restricting police and police who will not police their own bad apples. (Biden will not defund police, the local machine will,)
